As you surf the net, you see a lot ads. Some are more eye catching than others. Companies spend big bucks to make theirs most unique and eye appealing. But do some go overboard?
Evony - a massively multiplayer online real time strategy game has a very interesting ad campaign floating around the net. The main focus of their ads are pair of breasts. My guess is they are so desperate for traffic, they switched to "Sex sells" strategy.
When I saw their ads, my first thoughts were that it was some porn site. Later I came across one of their clean ads, the ones that gave you some idea what the their product was really all about.

Apparently, it's a multiplayer strategy game. But, advertising such a game with a pair of boobs. How does even work? Are they trying to lure bunch of curious kids (or thirty-year olds that live in their mom's basement) and make them play a strategy game. That's pretty effed-up if you ask me. I think those ads are killing more of their traffic than bringing in. I'm sure most of the parents don't want their kids playing games that have filthy ads like that.
Also, if you're expecting to save some sexy princess in that game. Don't bother, there isn't any. It's a strategy game similar to AOE and CIV. You collect resources, build, and destroy your enemies.
Edit:
Just noticed "Kingory" has similar ad campaign. Probably the same company develops both games.
